While it may be more expensive than the other food processors on our list, the Cuisinart 14 Cup food processor is hands-down the leading product on the market. Cuisinart is an established company in the industry, very well-known for it’s quality products, and with the performance of this food processor, we now know why they have such an outstanding reputation.
At the core of the Cuisinart food processor is a 720-watt motor. This motor is powerful enough to chop down, and cut even the most dense of food. If you are looking for a heavy duty food processor that can cut everything, look no further. While the food processor’s motor isn’t the most powerful on the list, it’s more powerful than anyone at home will practically need. Anything more powerful will be located in a professional chef’s kitchen. If that’s you, more power to you.
The Cuisinart food processor is also equipped with an industry-leading extra large feed tube allowing you to fit an abundant amount of whole foods such as apples, oranges. On top of the fruits, the food processor is also capable of handling longer vegetables such as celery, without any issues. Generally speaking, each food processor is better at processing a certain food. With the Cuisinart, as our number one pick as best food processor, you don’t have to worry about that.
The Cuisinart food processor is equipped with 2 separate discs, and a blade (a slicing disc, a chopping blade, and a shredding disc) that each pertain to a different situation. This allows for versatility when tackling many different foods. One of our least favorite things about other food processors, is that they are very hard to clean. With the Cuisinart, don’t fret, the blades are capable of being placed in the dishwasher, safely.
With all that said, it’s easy to see why the Cuisinart 14 Cup food processor is at the top of our list. It has the features, it has the power, and it is comfortable on your pockets. Step up your kitchen game with the Cuisinart food processor today!
Given it’s range of power and features, the Oster Pro 1200 food processor is our top pick for the best three-in-one. The Oster Pro 1200 comes with quite a few different features. This food processor is also a blender, and has a smoothie cup allowing for a wide variety of uses. With that being said, the Oster Pro 1200 will not do all of these exceptionally well, but it will certainly do what you ask of it. If you are looking for the best food processor, we still recommend the Cuisinart 14-cup listed above.
Surprisingly enough, at the heart of this food processor, blender, it provides a 1200 watt motor supplying you a consistent processing, and blending that everyone desires. Personally, I’ve experienced a few food processors that cut out while i’m in the middle of processing, and I end up with the cuts that i want, and then some giant cuts. That will not happen with the Oster Pro’s motor.
Our favorite feature of the Oster Pro 1200, is that it comes available with conveniently programmed buttons that allow for the perfect blend in smoothies, salsas, and milkshakes. There’s no need for you to guess how fast you need to blend, or how long you need to blend for with these already equipped settings. One disadvantage we noticed, was that the food processor doesn’t have very much carrying capacity. With only a 5-cup food processing bowl, expect yourself to be unloading very frequently.
With all that said, don’t expect to find a better three-in-one food processor, and blender than the Oster Pro 1200 for the price.
On a budget, and need a food processor? Look no further than the Hamilton Beach. Equipped with a 10-cup, expect yourself to be able to maintain processing with less unloading. More efficiency in a food processor is certainly never a bad thing. The Hamilton beach food processor comes with a bowl scraper allowing for even more efficiency. There’s no more need to remove the lid and use a spatula to remove the material within the 10-cup. This was extremely important for us because there’s nothing like trying to get dinner on the table, after a hard day’s work, and you can’t get the food out of the processor. Allow the Hamilton Beach food processor to make your life easier.
The Hamilton Beach’s 450 watt motor, with 2 possible speeds as well a pulse, allowing for a powerful process, on a budget. Our #1 rated food processor, the Cuisinart 14-cup, only has a 720-watt motor, and comes with a higher markup. Expect results with this little, but powerful motor. The large feed chute on the food processor allows for an entire block of cheese to be processed. There’s no need to cut the cheese up into smaller pieces.
Equipped with stainless steel blades that allow for a reversible slice, as well as a reversible shred, you can expect super clean processing, with consistent cuts from the Hamilton Beach. Ultimately, we recommend this food processor, on a budget, above any others.
Like It’s older brother, the 10-cup Hamilton, The Hamilton Beach 8-cup food processor is a doozy. Slightly cheaper, the processor offers a few less features. The big qualm with the 8-cup is that a 10-cup is the perfect number. Keep in mind, 8-cups mean that the container is capable of holding 8-cups. If you’re like us, we like to make a lot of food. And, when using the 8-cup, we found ourselves having to empty it significantly more often making cooking inefficient.
Powered by a 450 watt motor, with 2 speeds with pulse, this food processor will offer a clean processing. We recommend using the Hamilton Beach 8-cup for vegetables, and fruits. These will take less of a toll on the motor, and will allow the processor to still maintain it’s quality. And, with less capacity, you shouldn’t run out of room unless you own a farm and you’re processing fields of vegetables. If you are looking for more power, we recommend the Cuisinart 14-cup food processor.
The Hamilton Beach 8-cup food processor is equipped with a stainless steel slicing, and shredding disc allowing for the best, and most consistent cuts. Worried about washing these pieces after a good process? Don’t; you are capable of placing these in the dishwasher.
If you’re sick of cutting vegetables, and nuts by hand, we highly recommend this budget food processor. It is going to save you potentially 10-30 minutes each night. That is, at minimum, 60 hours a year extra that this food processor will save you. Time is irreplaceable.
The Veggie Bullet food processor, surprise, was manufactured to process vegetables. At the single touch of a button, you are able to turn nutrient-rich whole foods into more manageable portions that you can further cook with. On top of the vegetables, we recommend deli meats, and hard cheeses for maximum productivity out of this food processor.
A trend that has been picking up quickly, replacing regular noodles, are zoodles. These are zucchini noodles. The Veggie Bullet food processor was partially created for this very purpose. It will automatically turn your zucchini, and other vegetables into noodles. If you’re one to experiment, we highly recommend zucchini noodles as they are delicious!
We found one big issue with the Veggie bullet when testing, though. The spiralizer, while it did work well on zucchini and squash, it absolutely mutilated sweet potatoes, carrots, and potatoes. Anything that was hard, the blades, and the spiralizer did not work. We are unsure whether it is the power of the motor, or the sharpness of the stainless steel blades it comes equipped with. If you are going to be consistently processing hard vegetables, we recommend the Cuisinart 14-cup food processor. Otherwise, the Veggie bullet will get the job done for you!
If you are looking for a reliable, and durable food processor, blender, look no further than the Ninja Master QB1004. This food processor has some versatility to it. On top it’s normal use, it can be used as a blender, and a chopper. Want to make smoothies after a long day of work? No problem! The Ninja Master will take care of you.
It comes with a variety of accessories allowing for the versatility to become a reality. Equipped with a 48 oz pitcher for smoothies, a 40 oz bowl for normal food processing and meal prepping, as well as a 16 oz chopping bowl for even chopping, you might become overwhelmed with everything it has to offer. Powered by a 450-watt power pod, you will experience professional grade processing, and blending power.
The Ninja Master food processor is the perfect blend between performance, and budget perfect for household use. We highly recommend this food processor, blender combo if you are going to be focusing on vegetables, and smoothies.
The Breville BFP800XL food processor is the most professional grade processor on the list. While it may be professional grade, that comes with a cost. While this food processor is on the more expensive side, it will not fail you, ever.
Equipped with 5 multi-function discs, and 3 blades out of the box, all housed in an extremely convenient storage, it will offer you the most versatility of any food processor. One of the discs, a variable slicing disc, can be adjusted to 24 different settings from paper-thin 0.3mm, all the way up to 8.0mm. Other discs included are a julienne disc, a French-fry disc, a whisking disc, and a reversible shredding disc. The 3 blades include a micro-serrated universal S blade, a dough blade for kneading, and a mini blade for use with the equipped mini bowl.
The Breville BFP800XL offers an industry-leading 16-cup processing bowl, and a 2.5-cup for the mini processing bowl. The 16-cup option allows for mass production of soups, or dough, whereas the mini bowl is perfect for nuts, or sauces. Versatility at it’s finest. Powered by a 1200 watt motor, you can expect this food processor to cut anything you place within its wide-feed chute that allows all shapes and sizes to be processed. While this is a commercial-grade food processor, if you are looking for a more practical option, we recommend the Cuisinart 14-cup food processor.
The Kitchenaid 3.5-cup food processor is different in that it’s a mini processor. It is the perfect fit if you are looking to process things such as nuts, or sauces. While you may be able to use it for things such as vegetables, too, if you are processing any large amount of food, you will want to make sure you invest into a different food processor. We recommend actually having both a mini food processor, and a regular one such as the Cuisinart 14-cup food processor.
This compact, and lightweight food processor is ideal for eating healthier, being more creative, and just saving time on meal prepping. We’ve all gone the traditional route of cutting vegetables manually, but let’s face it: it becomes a tedious process. The KitchenAid food processor removes the tediousness, and allows you to be more efficient when preparing dinner for you, or your family.
Expect less than amazing results, due to the price point, but the stainless steel blades, and easy use, clean up ability of the KitchenAid 3.5-cup mini food processor, will get the job done for you. We highly recommend it on a budget. Treat yourself with efficiency.
The last Hamilton Beach food processor on our list, is the elite version. While it is a food processor, it is also an even better blender. Utilizing a glass jar as opposed to it’s plastic counterpart, this allows for the food processor to withstand extreme temperatures. We highly recommend processing soup with the Hamilton Beach over anything else. It is still capable of processing vegetables, though, so don’t worry.
Powered by a 700 watt motor, you can expect this food processor to have the needed power to process anything you decide to put in it. In our review, we noticed that the chute it is equipped with is less than optimal. We had to consistently cut foods down into smaller portions to insert them. That sort of defeats the purpose, for us, which is why we recommend the Cuisinart 14-cup food processor if you are looking for a longer-term option, albeit more expensive. On top of that, it is only equipped with a 3-cup chopping bowl which will significantly reduce your ability to cook efficiently.
However, the Hamilton Beach Elite food processor comes with a 40 ounce glass container, allowing for maximum storage ability, and has twelve blending options built in. Mix, milkshake, easy clean, puree, smoothie, icy drink, dice, chop, salsa, grind, crush ice, and grate. Essentially, you can use this monster for anything. For it’s low price, it certainly has versatility.
BLACK+DECKER makes everything it seems. I guess when you’re one of the best product manufacturers on the planet, you can do that. The BLACK+DECKER 8-cup food processor doesn’t disappoint with it’s 8-cup work bowl allowing you plenty of room to work with, as well as increasing your efficiency. Less removal time, means more efficiency when cooking dinner. You cannot put a price tag on time, or can you?
Powered with a 450-watt power, and stainless steel blades that are removable, and dishwasher free allow for an easy-to-use food processor, with reliable processing power. We recommend using the food processor for chopping, dicing, mincing, slicing. While there is more versatility to the food processor, this is where the BLACK+DECKER performs best. Equipped with a safety interlocking system, the stainless steel blades will only work when the cover is placed on the food processor. Safe, cheap, and reliable, we have a hard time purchasing a different food processor on a budget.
Our only qualm with the BLACK+DECKER food processor, was that you are not capable of storing everything inside of the 8-cup. This may or may not be an issue for you, depending on how much storage place you have in your kitchen, but certainly something to consider.
